CORPORATE WELLNESS
Team wellbeing is so important, 51% of long-term sick leave is due to stress, anxiety, or depression. (MHFA England, 2023). Research indicates that employers who encourage healthier lifestyles among their employees can see reductions in healthcare costs and increases in productivity, (Rachmah et al, 2022; World Economic Forum, 2023).

With more than 15 years of experience in an office setting, I fully understand the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while managing work demands. Yet, even small, simple adjustments can make a substantial difference in overall well-being.
HOW DOES A CORPORATE WELLNESS PROGRAMME WORK?
These can be either group talks or 1:1 sessions with individuals. These programmes can be bespoke in order to deliver the best and most relevant results for your teams.

CORPORATE WELLNESS WORKSHOPS
Corporate wellness programs offer a comprehensive approach to improving employee health and well-being by providing interactive sessions that inspire, support, and empower individuals to make positive lifestyle changes. These workshops cover a wide range of topics, from optimising meal choices and timing to managing caffeine and alcohol intake.
They also offer practical hints and tips for nutritional improvements. By addressing lifestyle factors such as stress management and the importance of adequate sleep, these programs encourage a holistic view of health. Employees are given the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions that can lead to improved physical and mental well-being. Furthermore, the communal aspect of these sessions fosters a supportive work environment, promoting a culture of health and wellness within the company. This not only benefits individual employees but can also lead to increased productivity, reduced absenteeism, and a more positive workplace atmosphere overall.

LUNCHTIME LEARNING SESSIONS
Lunchtime learning sessions provide a convenient and engaging opportunity for employees to explore essential nutrition topics. Held during lunch breaks, these sessions offer a relaxed, informal environment where participants can learn valuable information about nutrition and well being including nutritional and lifestyle tweaks to increase energy and improve metabolic health.

These sessions not only foster a culture of health and wellness in the workplace but also empower employees to make informed dietary choices that enhance their overall well-being. By scheduling them during lunch, they become more accessible, fitting easily into the workday without requiring extra time. Lunchtime learning sessions are a simple yet effective way to promote healthier lifestyles and create a supportive work environment focused on well-being.

TEAM CHALLENGES
Organising team challenges, focused on improving nutrition, can be an effective way to motivate individuals to adopt healthier eating habits. By creating friendly competitions within a team or between different groups, participants are encouraged to engage in a 2–6-week health challenge of their choice, such as increasing their intake of fruits and vegetables or reducing sugar consumption.

Regular online support and weekly check-ins provide an opportunity for team members to share their progress, exchange tips, and encourage each other, fostering a sense of camaraderie and accountability. This collaborative approach not only makes the journey toward better nutrition more enjoyable but also leverages the power of peer support to help everyone stay committed to their goals. Ultimately, these challenges can create a positive and supportive environment, making it easier for participants to achieve lasting lifestyle changes.
